Even though we've had an extremely mild winter, we're still ready for warmer days and soaking in the sun. The skies are blue, the mountains are tipped with snow, and signs of life are showing up all around. We're starting to get the park in good shape for the Summer season and invite you all to give us a call and make your reservations for May through September.
We had a wonderful first Summer season here at the park. Thank you all so much for making our first year here a success! We met so many friendly faces and memorable folks from all over. And the puppy dogs!!! We must have made at least a hundred new furry friends. Pure heaven! Safe travels to everyone heading home and we hope to see you all back here next year! For all you winter travelers, we look forward to seeing y'all in the coming months. No reservations are required at this time, as we'll have plenty of spots available through the fall / winter season. Just come on in and we'll take care of you. We also have monthly spaces available at affordable rates - perfect for hunters, students, and adventurers of all kinds. We hope to see you during the next few months and as always, travel safely.

It's May 1! And that means that Countryside is officially ours! Josh and I are so excited about our first big season here at the park. (Honestly, I've been so wound up about this day that I haven't slept for a week!) We are so grateful to Papa John and Mamma V for giving us the opportunity to turn the park into a second generation family owned and operated business. We hope to bring the same enjoyment to our customers as Valerie and John have always done; we are going to continue to pick their brains to make sure Countryside is always the very best it can be. And don't worry, you're sure to see them around the park often! To our loyal, repeat customers: we thank you and value your business. To our customers we've not yet met: we look forward to meeting you!
The family Hathaway took a day drive up to Jackson, MT this past week to experience the majestic beauty of Montana covered in snow. The drive itself was breathtaking, with a three hundred and sixty degree view of awesome all around. We really loved the atmosphere at Jackson Hot Springs the moment we arrived. The fire was stoked, warm, and inviting, and our bartender / server / chef was super nice and welcoming. The whole place feels very accommodating and comfortable. We sat by the fire and drank hot cider, then enjoyed a game of shuffleboard (in which the kids were soundly beaten by the parents,) before settling down to an excellent meal. We will definitely go back soon and highly recommend this place as a perfect spot for an afternoon drive from the park.
Countryside RV Park is proud to welcome Joshua and Brandy (Ernie) Hathaway to the family business and their new Montana home. Joshua will join Countryside as General Manager, providing new insights and ideas to continue the improvement of the business and promote Dillon and it’s surrounding communities. Ernie's background in Customer Relations has prepared her to provide genuine hospitality and excellent customer service to all our guests and residents. Josh & Ernie’s main focus is to ensure the continued comfort and enjoyment of everyone who choses Countryside as their home away from home.
Countryside RV Park, which has been open for fifteen years, is located at Exit 59 off of I-15, at the corner of Hwy. 278 and I-15. After their second retirement, John & Valerie Hathaway moved from Texas to Montana, and have owned and operated Countryside RV Park for the past five years. They have over 50 years of combined experience in business management, finance, marketing and planning. After only five short years, Countryside RV Park is now one of Montana's highest rated RV parks. Our goal has been to provide a friendly, happy atmosphere where people can relax and enjoy some the most beautiful scenery Montana has to offer. We aim to make every opportunity a totally positive and enjoyable experience for every visitor to our park as well as to our community.
